SHL launches partner
network in UK |
 |
At
the end of 2005, TAC Europe proudly became a SHL Partner company.
 |
SHL,
a world leader in objective assessment, sees its partner
programme as a vital part of it’s own growth strategy.
The SHL Partner Network (SPN), has over 230 partners
registered worldwide and their appointed psychologists,
HR consultants and specialist recruitment companies
can now deploy a range of of SHL tests to assist clients
with a range of resourcing issues including staff selection,
assessment, development, coaching and promotion. |
Independent
psychologists and HR consultants play a key role in the
market for assessment products, often providing in depth
sector or local market knowledge that is invaluable to their
clients. In response to feedback from this community SHL
has created the SHL Partner Network to offer them more information
and better access to SHL products in ways that support their
own businesses.
Nigel
Thomas, director of alliances and channels, at SHL, commented;
“We have created the SPN in response to feedback
from the marketplace and we hope that it will be a win-win
for all parties. Independent psychologists and consultants
can enhance the services they offer with simple to deploy
SHL assessments, whilst SHL benefits from partnering with
local and industry-experts that have strong relationships
with organisations around the country. The SPN is also rapidly
becoming a global community that helps local specialists
reach and work with their peers around the world.”
Elizabeth
Battle, HR Manager at TAC Europe, remarked “The
hiring of a new employee is one of the most important decisions
a manager is called upon to make. TAC Europe in partnership
with SHL has the tools to ensure that our clients are equipped
to make the right recruitment decisions – first time.”

Europe relocates european headquarters
 |
TAC
Europe is relocating it's head office. The company will
still be based in Basingstoke but will now be occupying
the top floor of Matrix House, a glass building which
stands impressively at the entrance to the Basing View
Business Park. The move will take place on 13th February
2006.
This development forms part of an on-going expansion
programme to cater for an influx of staff planned in
the coming year. The new building will also help to
reflect TAC Europe’s focus on high quality recruitment
services. |
TAC
Europe Managing Director Simon Trippick commented; “Our
new headquarters in the centre of Basingstoke will provide
an excellent facility to support our continued growth and
expansion. We have also recently opened an office in the
Isle of Man and anticipate adding further additional office
space in the UK to complement our existing network over
the next twelve to eighteen months.”
TAC
Europe’s new facility will allow us to deliver a better
service to our customers and will host all key head–office
functions, customer meeting rooms as well as the company’s
consultancy, MCS.
TAC
Europe has decided to remain in Basingstoke, thus continuing
an association with the town that started in 1999. It is
an ideal location for candidates, staff and clients, with
fast links to London and easy access to the M3 and M4.
