company
wide support for ‘wear it pink' day!
 |
Staff
at both TAC Europe and Technology Project Services
took part in the ‘Wear It Pink' event organised
on 27th October 2006. Those taking part were asked
to come to work wearing pink items of clothing
and make a donation of at least £2 (other
members of staff were encouraged to donate even
if they were not in pink!).
The event was organised to raise money in aid of Breast Cancer Research and both organisations raised a combined total of just under £300 was gathered for this worthy cause.
A special mention should be given to Debbie Merry who raised over £140 alone. Click here to see our Wear it Pink Certificate

MBDA
annual charity dinner
On 30th November, MBDA held their annual charity
dinner to benefit the SSAFA Forces and three hospices,
St. Peters Bristol, The Bolton Hospice, and Keech
Cottage Children's Hospice. The guest speakers
at the event were former international goalkeepers,
Bob Wilson and David Seaman. For the past 10 years,
MBDA and their business partners have increased
the amount of money raised for these worthy causes
from £5,000 in 1996 to £74,000 this
year, which was an excellent achievement. The
highlight of the evening was the MBDA Auction,
at which TAC Europe/TPS bought a 1 hour Tiger
Moth flight experience for £875. TPS Commercial
Director,
Mike Brooksbank will present the experience to
St Michael's Hospice in Basingstoke to be used
for further fund raising. |
